1. Who we are

ChemExact (the "Service") is operated by Beijing Lushi Technology Co., Ltd. ("we", "us"). This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard personal information when you visit chemexact.com / chemexact.cn or submit an inquiry through our channels.

2. Information we collect

• Inquiry data you submit voluntarily — name, work email, phone, company, country, the CAS / product you are sourcing, quantity, destination and timeline.
• Technical data — IP address, user agent, referrer, pages visited, request timestamps. Logged for security, fraud prevention and aggregated analytics.
• Cookies — strictly-necessary cookies for language preference and session handling. We do not use third-party advertising cookies on this site.

3. How we use it

• To route your inquiry to verified suppliers, return quotes and follow up on a single procurement thread.
• To improve product matching, supplier ranking and overall service quality.
• To comply with applicable laws (PIPL, GDPR, CCPA), export-control screenings and customs documentation.
• To send you (with consent) optional market briefs you can unsubscribe from at any time.

4. Sharing & cross-border transfer

We share the minimum necessary inquiry data with the specific verified suppliers we route to on your behalf. Suppliers are contractually bound to use this data only for the stated quote. When data is transferred across borders (e.g. supplier in Shanghai, buyer in Germany), we rely on standard contractual clauses and the legal bases recognized under GDPR Art. 46, PIPL Art. 38 and CCPA §1798.140.

5. Retention

Inquiry threads are retained for 24 months for follow-up, then anonymized. Server access logs are retained for 90 days. You may request earlier deletion at any time (see §7).

6. Security

We host on Tier-IV cloud infrastructure with TLS 1.3 in transit and AES-256 at rest. Admin access requires SSO + MFA. Service operations are audited annually.

7. Your rights

You may request access, rectification, deletion or portability of your personal information, withdraw consent for direct marketing, or lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Email bd@chemexact.com — we respond within 15 working days.

8. Children

The Service is a B2B platform and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes are announced at least 30 days in advance via the homepage banner and (for opted-in subscribers) by email.
